Note: As always, it is well worth looking all of the images at their full size, as the thumbnails really don't do some of them all that much justice.
You may notice that in the gallery some files appear larger then 150KB, but every photo included was less then 150KB when uploaded to the gallery.
To ensure that voting remains fair only active participating members of the forum may cast a vote. New members may not be able to vote right away in a challenge due to restrictions that have been put in place. If you cannot vote, but believe that you should be able to, feel free to send a pm to myself or another TPF staff member.
Please keep in mind that we are trying to keep this challenge anonymous (and unbiased) when it comes to both the submitting and the voting. Please avoid sharing your opinions about any specific photos until after the voting has completed and the winner is announced.
Please read the titles carefully in order to avoid confusion before voting. The photos may not be sorted in the correct order so to ensure you view them in proper order scroll to the bottom of the page and where it says "Display Options" ensure you select Sorted By: "Image Name" Sort Order: "Ascending" and then click on the "Show Images" button.

Thanks to those who took part in the January '10 challenge, let's see how the vote goes this time.
For this month, I have decided to set the challenge topic as "Fashion". Anything connected with clothes, shoes, hats, jewellery, make-up and the people surrounding such things is likely to be good. Dress up or dress down, the aim here is capture what's in where you are at the moment. Let's see what you can do then.
The prize for the winner of the vote, as always, will be a $25.00 Amazon voucher courtesy of the TPF owners.
For all those who wish to participate in this challenge please take a moment to read through the following:
The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2010
The image can be no larger then 150KB*
Include your forum username when submitting
The attached photo must be in the form of a .jpg
Please keep your photo anonymous (no distinguishing watermarks, and no photos that have been posted previously on the forum)
Submit no more than one photo
If you wish you may include a title when submitting your photo (please ensure that the attached photo is renamed as the chosen title)
The form must also be included when submitting the photo
Despite what the FAQs indicate, confirmation emails will not be issued.
The forum Admins and Moderators reserve the right to exclude or remove any photo solely at their discretion

Welcome to the January 2010 PotM Nomination thread and what better way to start off a new decade in positive fashion.
As always if you see a few great images in the galleries this month, don't hesitate to paste it over here and let everyone see, all the entries will then go through to the voting stage and someone will get to be on the front page!
RULES:
1) You may nominate up to THREE photos, no more.
2) Please include the name of the photo and the name of the photographer.... you can't nominate yourself.
3) You may nominate any photo posted on The Photo Forum during the month of January 2010 in the galleries. Photo must have been taken by the poster.
4) If someone else has already nominated a photo, please do not nominate it again. It makes it very confusing when it's time to make the voting thread. If a photo is nominated twice, your post may be edited or deleted.
How to nominate: Just right click the picture you'd like to nominate..... go to 'properties' and paste the location into the image icon on this thread..... its easy!
