Lens compatibility
I`ve just acquired a 35MM outfit consisting of a Pentax P3n camera, a Takumar A 70-200, Takumar A 28-80, and a Vivitar 100MM macro/telephoto. Is there a dslr out there that will accept those lenses? The lenses fit the camera. All replys appreciated.
Joe BTW: I wasn`t sure where to enter this post .. Digital or film ... so I flipped a coin. |

The P3n used a K-mount and so do the current dSLR's from Pentax (and Samsung). Your lenses should work on a Pentax with maybe some limitations. Check this link for compatibilities between different Pentax lenses/cameras.

Thanks, Steph. Very helpful. I also have a Nikon EM and I am looking to find an adapter to fit the K-mount lenses to the Nikon. Haven`t been able to find any info on that yet.
