EXIF info?

(I think thats what its called....correct me if im wrong)

Why is it that on some pictures, it has it (I have the plug in for firefox that shows it when looking at the properties) and sometimes pictures dont??? Even some of mine dont...but they are all uploaded to the same places and everything?

What makes some NOT have it embedded?

All files from the camera will have this info attached/embedded. When you open it, edit it and save it (Photoshop etc) you can retain or loose that data. It just depends on your work flow.

Wedding photographers and higher end photographers really don't like sharing EXIF data all that often. It's because they don't want to share all their secrets to getting those pcs that we all "ooh-aaahh!" over.
Don't worry about it, I get annoyed as well.

I guess I can understand that...but its not like it shows their post-processing...and obviously your camera can only do SO MUCH...ya know? its a lot up to the photographer and their eye...and their pp. So...ya...

Some of the photo hosting sites out there strip the EXIF out of the web-sized versions, some don't, and some are inconsistent and seem to do it randomly. For the purpose of trying to help people on forums like these I'd prefer that it leave it in, but my host seems to be quite random and I have no control over it.
