i'm gonna suggest some music for you, and then you can suggest some for me
deal? good.
artists i've recently discovered and enjoyed (as well as some song suggestions): amos lee keep it loose, keep it tight arms of a woman seen it all before colors in fact, just get his whole self-titled album. it's all great. i love sam cooke and i kind of feel like this guy is a bit of a modernized version of sam. very relaxing and soulful. polly paulusma perfect 4/4 she moves in secret ways i wasn't THAT thrilled with her voice at first, but it grew on me... and i like her lyrics a lot. vienna teng shasta (carrie's song) homecoming (walter's song) track 12 that last one is a hidden track i think. all three songs are from her "warm strangers" album. if you can't find them on itunes or anything, she has stuff on her website. (i was informed earlier that the UK itunes doesn't have her music. ) anyway, she's got a beautiful voice... and, in my opinion, a bit of a tori amos/sarah mclachlan thing going on.rosie thomas farewell regina spektor i want to sing she's an odd one, but i was attracted to this particular song for some reason. great pipes on this girl. rachael yamagata the reason why great lyrics in that one. martina sorbara the end of the world she sounds a LOT like jewel to me. so, give those a listen when you have the time. if you want. okay... your turn. bring it on!

given what i listed up there, i can see where you might think that... but trust me, you can't judge my taste solely based on those suggestions. i listen to LOTS of stuff. i just happen to have been on a bit of a folk-ish kick lately. not sure why.
there's always still room for metal, rock, rap, techno, alternative, country, punk... whatever.

maybe when we suggest music, we should include a link or something so others can listen to it.

All the songs on the CD "The Wanderer", but especially the song "That was a crazy game of poker" You can listen to it here on their site...just go to the OfaRevolution Player at the bottom and choose the album then the song. http://www.ofarevolution.com/site2003/index.html

I like these people, maybe you have heard of them, maybe not. Anyways i feel like they really have a message to their music and its worth a listen.
Snow Vanilla Ice Joey Lawence Milli Vanilli Lindsey Lohan Guns and Roses (Thier new stuff w/ Axel) Ah Ha Tears for Fears Nick Lachey the GoGo's Violent Femmes Green Jello (Insert Any) Spice girl's solo stuff Ringo Starr (solo) Corey Feldman's rock Eddie Murphy's song Paris Hilton The Wonders The Hansons Minuto the Jackson 5 The 86 Bears song 2 Live Crew Hammer And the Partridge Family I seriously think everyone should give a couple of these artists some play. Because they are all talented and have something meaningful to say.
