Question Who are your favourite chick singers?

Who are your favourite chick singers based on talent (not boob size)? I have to say i really love the following singers:

1. Beth Orton - I haven't heard a single from her i didn't like. Incredible talent songerwriter with a gorgeous voice
2. Sophie Ellis Baxtor - A bit of a guilty pleasure. Yeah, she doesn't write her own songs and it is dance music, but her accent so sexy.
3. Imogen Heap - very pop but very good
4. Sia Furler - 'breathe me' (especially Ulrich Schnauss remix) and nearly everything Zero 7 is simply divine.

There are so many others but i'll stop here, who are your fav's?

Her singing blows but, I have a disturbing obsession with Lindsay Lohan. She is my marital exemption.

Ok no fair, Beth Orton and Sia were definately on the top of my list!
Zero 7 too.
- Beth Gibbons from Portishead.
- Also, Sarah Mclachlan's voice is just amazing.
- Aimee Mann!!!
- I absolutely love Bjork. Most of the time her singing voice is a little dodgy - but sometimes it's just pure gold. Also her music is wonderful.
- The chicks from The Waifs - London Still has sort of become my anthem while overseas *sob* I miss australia!
- Jewel - love the voice, hate the music except for some of her old stuff.

Plus there's the french version of American/Australian Idol is running at the moment and I usually hate that show. But this season there is just the most amazing girl on it, Myriam. Her voice sends shivers up my spine whenever she sings! It's actually a bit unfair for the other competitors how good she is. Finally someone who can actually sing on one of these shows! Yay!

I'm with you Matt, I've been in love with Natalie since the very first time I saw their first video. She is so hot/cute when she scrunches up her face and does that little head bob... I first saw them in person when they played after a AAA baseball game. They have come a long way since then.

My favorite female singer has to be Alison Krause (with her bluegrass band Union Station of course). Her version of Keith Whitley's When you say Nothing at all, is one of my favorites.
