Mozilla Firefox
Anyone here use Firefox? If so, do you find that it isn't particularly good at rendering brightness in jpg images? I find that it darkens to about the equivilent of -5% in PS compared to IE.
Any thoughts anyone? |

I'll just take the chance to say to every Firefox user, UPDATE. I know there are a few users here who use it. They found a couple of huge security holes a little while ago. Even though they haven't been exploited yet, they did recommend that you use IE until they brought out a new version.

I haven't tested it with IE but I do notice that all the JPEGs here look a fair bit darker than they do in PS.
Update: I just compared between IE and Firefox and there's no difference there that I can see. But definately brighter in PS.

I'm with Scurra, I haven't noticed any difference between the two either.

No difference for me. Nobody should be using IE. Firefox is far safer. Plus, tabbing is great.

My only problem is some sites don't support Firefox and it tends to crash alot.

I use Opera and IE. I'm the only one who uses Opera and I like the way you can open lots of windows and not take up the task bar with crap. It also says when a page you're not viewing has loaded. It's all very handy for sites like this because I pop on and open up all the threads I like the look of and I'm able to quickly view the next one when I've finished with the one I'm on (it does make sense...). I use IE for normal things and it's the default browser.

Just D/L Netscape 8 and i'm quite impressed. You can open up pages in tabs, just like Firefox or Foxfire as some call it. Seems pretty quick and looks the business.
