stupid outlook
I use Outlook and for some reason now if I try to open an attachment it gives me a stupid little pop-up saying "access denied". That's all. I use win2k pro sp4 and I'm set as the admin. Anyone got any suggestions? Ones involving hammers, fine. Ones telling me to change to something else other than Outlook, not.

What does the popup belong to? Outlook, Windows or some other software like firewall or antispyware?

Go into your options and check out the security settings. Sometimes Outlook will switch to blocking your attachments when it does an update. I can't remember exactly where that option is but I bet it has the "block attachments that could potentially be a virus" block checked.
