Yes, I use Tiger and I love it. It's been so long since I have used Panther (I'm one of those crazy early adopters) I can't really remember which features are included in Tiger versus Panther, but I know that I love Tiger.

I use the RSS features in Safari (a lot!), I like the new Mail (although not at first) and in the last few weeks I finally started using Spotlight, although it certainly isn't perfect.

I'm sure one of the others will come along soon with more details, but I'd say go for it.

I use Panther and my youngest son has a G5 running Tiger. To be honest there is not much difference - unless you really want Widgets.
The only real improvement is in iChat compatibility.
I'm not bothering to upgrade.

The macbook pro looks so awesome. I'm considering trading in my powerbook for it.

Anyway... yeah, tiger is better than panther. That's the difference between mac and windows... the OS actually gets better with new releases (just kidding). Although tiger isn't a whole lot better than panther (at least not as much as Panther is to Jaguar), it is an improvement
