    Universal Remote

I was wondering if anyone here had tried a Universal Remote for a tv as a remote for their camera and if they had any success getting it to work?

I know it is horribly cheap of me to think of this, but I'm a broke college kid.

I seem to remember someone doing this, maybe with a palm pilot or something. It only worked with certain cameras though.

You can buy a cheap camera remote for little more than a universal TV remote.

I appreciate the help. I've got the universal already laying around. I may try it later.
