I look at every photograph I take with this quote in mind.....
Don't despair, your mother still loves you.
I'm FX'y and I know it.....
Don't be too proud, she has to.
Well, if you shoot raw, you can put the card somewhere in a test shot and when you process your raw image, most software will let you pick on the grey card to set the WB. All other photos with the same lighting can use the same WB setting and you can usually apply this to a whole group of images in bulk.

I can honestly say that there are two most remarkable men in the world today. Michio Kaku is one, and I am the other. Between us we cover all knowledge.
Kaku knows all that can be known....And I know the rest.

Today is a gift. That is why we call it the present."

You don't take a photograph, you make it.

Meter the grey card. Mark down the reading. Now, anything that you meter in the scene will be rendered with the same reflectance as the grey card (a middle tone).

I recommend a white balance cap, much easier and better IMO

There is wb caps for £40 and stuff...

to use it simply have someone hold card under the lighting situation.....set camera to custom which then you get in and take a picture of the card, the camera processes it and stores it.
