I really want a black rapid strap. But I don't know.
The only thing I'm worried about is the strap rubbing into my skin in the neck.
My neck is mighty strong after carrying a full-size ar with all the gear on it on skis, when we walk on skis the gun is in a funny position.
Maybe I try to make a camera strap out of paracord? hmm.NIKON D800 + D7000 | Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D | Sigma 70-200 f2.8 HSM II | Nikkor 18-105VR | Sigma 2x EX DG Teleconverter | Metz 50-AF1 | Think Tank Retrospective 20 | Lowepro Pro Roller x200 | Car Mount | Lowepro ProRunner 200AW | Slik 700 DX Pro | Giottos MML 3290B Monopod | Camera Control Pro 2 | Lightroom & Photoshop | Numerous Sandisk Extreme Pro CF's and SD's

I am too much of noob to comment on your photo gear but I know a little about backpacking. You need to take a good homemade first aid kit.
I didn't see one in the pic. You can look online for things to put into it. Don't go for a premade one, they suck. I can fit almost all my needs in a 1gallon zip lock bag.
Take meds, blood clot bandage, moleskin, isreali bandage, small sewing stuff, string, butterflies, whistle, splint and more. The snake bite kit with the pump is
good for a variety of bug bite and other bites. I think I am going to add a suture/stapler to mine. They are cheap and sterile one use items that could make a dif.
Sunscreen wipes don't weigh much and betadine wipes are good too. Sounds extreme but I take it on day hikes even. Last week a group of cyclists mixed it up on the trail
and they had to be carried out. The ranger said it happens all the time.
Just my 2cents...you may already have it covered.

Thanks for the tips buddy! I already have a half homemade half premade one in the top lid of the pack, made by a really good norwegian company. I added some stuff to it, like strips and blister plasters. But a very very good tip if I had forgot it, it could really the difference between life and death.
