    I like this shot. The pant strokes help with the texture.

    Curious to see what it would look like in colour

    Thanks for resurrecting this one after it died a quiet death last Fall. I agree about the paint; I adjusted curves to bring out the contrast in it. The color version is not so interesting, imo, because the little color that is there (door is gray) is distracting, e.g., red frame and bricks, brass lock. For me it was all about the lighter details in the paint and elsewhere against the dark background.

    i would cut away 1/4th from bottom and would love this

    I agree that it would get distracting. Good choice on the bw.
