WTS: Nikon SB-800 (Rough Cosmetic Condition) - $225 shipped
I recently bought two flashes, a SB-600 and a SB-800 from a gentleman who obviously wasn't delicate with his equipment. He carried all of his gear loose in his camera bag (no dividers) and as a result, things got bumped and scraped. The flashes both work great, but I don't need 3 flashes(I already had a mint SB-600). My plan was to sell the 600 and keep the 800, but the 600 isn't selling, so I have decided to put both up for sale and keep whichever of the two doesn't sell.
This one is in better condition than the 600, but still has battle scars. Asking $225, and i'll pay for USPS Priority flat rate shipping.

Do you have the 5th battery compartment and case? If so, I'm interested. Pretty isn't everything.

Kerbouchard,
I do have the case coming (the guy I bought these from didn't have the case with him when we met). It should be in the mail tomorrow. He couldn't find the gel covers, and I didn't know that the 800 came with a 5th battery compartment, so I didn't ask.

Yes, the SB800 comes with a compartment to mount a 5th battery to. It reduces the recycle time considerably.
If you don't have the gel covers or the 5th battery attachment, your price doesn't look quite as good to me. It's still a great flash, but for me, perhaps a few too many compromises.
FWIW, I already have an SB800. If I didn't, your deal would probably still be a good one. It offers a lot more than the SB600 which usually sells for a similiar price. I think I paid about 325 for my SB800 in mint condition with all of the accessories, so I think your price is probably still more than fair.
Good luck on your sale.
