Hi guys, so I currently have the kit lense and the 50mm 1.8 for my Canon T2i, I've always wanted a zoom lense to photograph many different things that I normally cannot get with my other lenses, I am also going on a cruise in August. Do you all think I should buy the "EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II Lens

" or would it be a waste of money, I can't spend a lot of if you know any telephoto lense under $200 let me know, or if you think I should just stick with the lenses I have now let me know.

Nifty 250 is a fantastic lens. You'll need to pay 10x more for next level of sharpness.
