Is it still worth getting the 24-70mm?
Ive read about how great the 24-70mm lens is but i already own the 24mm 1.4 and i mainly only shoot landscape.
Recently I've been getting into shooting more general outside photos and slowly getting into wedding photography.
Should i invest in one of these lens or look at something more telephoto? I also own the 85mm lens which i use for portraiture but need something more flexible with a low aperture.Canon Rebel XS.

For your camera (crop sensor), I'd suggest something in the 17-55mm range. Canon's EF-s 17-55mm F2.8 is very well renowned. I used the Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 for many years and was very happy with it.
Some photographers just prefer to use prime lenses, so you might add a 50mm and go with a 24mm, 50mm and 85mm...you already have the 10-22mm for wide angle.
You might consider than since you have the 10-22mm, you next zoom should be in the 24-70mm range....but I never found that combination to work well for weddings etc. I liked having the wide angle, but if I used the 10-22mm for too many shots of people, the perspective distortion gets tired very quickly. And using something like the 24-70mm, I found that 24mm just wasn't wide enough for my main lens. There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.

This really is a zoom versus prime question.... which is really a personal preference.
I had a set of 5 primes that saw far more use than my zooms. Of course, I can see wedding photographers preferring a fast zoom such as the 24-70 because of their flexibility in a dynamic environment.<exits stage left>

OK, yes...then you will likely want something in the 24-70mm range. But as mentioned, going with primes over zooms is a perfectly valid option, it's just personal preference.Oh sorry i need to update my signature I'm using a canon 5d mk iii now hence the 24mm.
The Canon 24-70mm F2.8 L has been a workhorse of professionals for many years...but I've talked to more than a couple photographers who aren't big fans of that lens (usually focus issues)...and for something that big and expensive, it shouldn't have issues. There is a new version (24-70mm F2.8 L II), but I haven't heard much about it yet...pretty pricey at $2300.
I just read a review of the new Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 VC. It's the only 24-70mm f2.8 that has stabilization and the reviewer (Bob Atkins) said it compared very well against the more expensive Canon & Nikon lenses. It's still expensive at $1300, but that's $1000 less than the new Canon.
I bought a used Tamron 28-80mm F2.8 and I'm not thrilled with it. Wide open, the image quality is terrible...but it's adequate when stopped down a little. There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.
