    Sunsets are somewhat of a cliché subject, so you really need a spectacular one to get the interest of any viewer. That means straight horizon, extremely interesting sky with lots of colour and cloud detail, foreground with a vertical or two to create perspective and a less flat looking image and minimal totally black areas in the image. Unfortunately there is not sufficient visual interest in your shot.

    I like the position of the boat and the composition in the image but am not overly impressed with the rest of the image.
