Pretty good. Yes the second attaempt is better.
Composition is good as is DOF.
Possibly a little too much foreground, this will take the horizon away from the centre

I prefer the 3rd one myself. Perhaps just because I like having more of the mountains in the shot.

Time of day has affected the lighting. As you see, that can be addressed if it is important to you. Personally, I would like for you to have pulled back a little. The panorama seems crowded on both sides.
