No longer a newbie, moving up!
Well i dont like it that all of it is out of foucs because of your lack of changing it to a smaller aperature. Go back and reshoot that, it has a lot of potential.
Canon EOS 350D
Canon 50mm F/1.8

Difficult to see how sharp/soft this is but if you shot with a large aperture it's likely you may be bettrer shooting again. Looks like a nice scene.

I spend too much of my life on TPF!
What did you use for a lens ?? ( almost Fish Eye Look Here ? )
I don't really care for the entire bow effect going on in a landscape ??
I also think the exposure is off, its hard to see out of focus when majority of shot appears dark/ lacking detail ??
I don't know, this just not working for me...
It almost appears that your polarizer , if you used one ? took over this shot..Its almost like you metered on the sky??
Sorry... its a beautiful composition, and if you could re shoot, i sure would!

the slight bow could have been from the telephoto lens i was using.
the exposure was at -1 because i wanted to darken up on that tree line on the left.
i was on a friends boat at the time i shot this.
