"" MELLOW YELLOW ""
Ok lets go with this....
How do you feel about the Fence in these two photos??
First Shot taken Winter/ 2007", shows entire home and barn, Fence not as much a part of the scene in this one , composition wise..
Second Shot , done a few days ago, Fence now plays a pretty good role in the composition...
so lets hear it on the fence, and anything else you want to sharpen your Cri-Teeth on ...

They both look good, and the fence doesn't bother me. Maybe if you could have raised the camera a little higher in the second shot so that the fence isn't in front of the house on the right. But if that's not possible, I understand.
I do really like these though
