canon 50d or 500d

i know this question has probably been asked before, but i am looking to upgrade from my canon 350d to either a 50d or 550d and i am not sure which one is best for me. i do, do some freelance photography work mostly weddings but most i take wildlife and landscape picture.

can anyone please give me a bit of advice as to which is best.

freelance weddings with a 350D? Interesting.

The 50D is a better camera than the 500D. If you have crappy glass, I'd maybe go with the 500D and get a new pro lens.

and i never use my 350d for weddings i loan out a nikon d700 for the day.

nope thats wh i put on my last reply i hire another camera for the day, my 350 is for my personal, hence the reason for an upgrade because i have had the the 350 for about 6 years now and its not giving me the results i want

The only thing that the 500D has on the 50D is video.
