Watermarking questions...
I have my photos with a watermark in the lower/left corner. I use photos like this on facebook...and love that lightroom will just apply it. HOWEVER, I have a smugmug acct that people can order prints from...and if I upload the exported photos to smugmug, there's clearly a watermark...which people aren't gonna want.
So...
Is there something I'm missing? Should I upload to smugmug with NO watermark? Is there a something from lightroom that will include it on the web and not include it in print? How do you guys handle this?
Thank you...

If you upload a photo to smugmug with a watermark, smugmug doesn't know that it has a watermark, it's just part of the photo...so if they are going to print it, the watermark gets printed as well.
I don't know much about smugmug, but is there a way to have them apply a watermark, just on the display of the image? That would solve your problem.
Personally, I use a photo store that resides right on my own website. I can choose to have it watermark the images or not. But either way, with this set up, the orders come to me and I have to send the prints to the lab....and of course, I wouldn't send images that have a watermark. There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.

The SmugMug watermark is only there online to deter people from right clicking, or taking a screen shot of photos on SmugMug. If someone orders a print it won't have the SmugMug watermark on it.
SmugMug likely has a feature that allows you to disable SmugMug's watermark.. . . . . . Keith . . . . . . .How Do I Use My Digital SLR?...
