    problems recovering pictures.

I'm new here, so hello. Was hoping to get some help. I bought a canon t3i while on vacation, took a ton of pictures with it, and decided I was not happy with it. I decided to have my wife return it and get me a Nikon d5100,, I have some experience with this one and had liked it. anyhow she did not download the photos from the Sd card before returning it. Now when I put the Sd card in the computer it says there its nothing stored on the card. Just doesn't make sense to me. Was a brand nee card also. any suggestions?

Firstly, it serves you right for sending your wife out to change a camera that you bought and secondly, perhaps the card was wiped or reformatted in the store she took it back to?

She removed the Sd card before she returned it.

Give the Zero Assumption data recovery program a try, it's worked when I tried to recover some stuff for the bro-inlaw on some oddball camera.
