Hi,

Does anyone know what the native ISO is for the new Sony A99? I heard somebody say it was ISO 100 others ISO 200.

I saw a review on DxOMark - DxOMark by DxO Labs, seems like the best setting is ISO 50.... dont know if i'm reading it right though..?

took some photographs today and noticed that i had some squiggly lines come up on some of them, I used a prime lens for most of my photographs today and haven't noticed them but when I used my 'zoom' lens 70-300mm they appear?? does anyone know what they may be and suggest any help i can get to remove them. Thank you in advance

Well I must say this is probably the most amazing camera I have ever used. I can recover blown out highlights you wouldn't believe. The image quality at high ISO is amazing and the shutter is so quit you barely know it's taken a picture. Plus the Carl Zeiss lens is up there with the best I have ever used.

I bought a A99 and it's a great camera!

However, setting the camera up for shooting HDR on a tripod seems to miss one important thing - the ability to set the camera on a timer (2 or 10 seconds) while being in HDR- or Bracketing-mode. Meaning there's a risk of blurry pictures because the camera fires as soon as you touch the shutter-release.

I haven't got a wireless remote, but to activate the wireless setting in the camera, disables the shutterrelease-delay.

Did I miss something in using this camera? any advice?

I would like to solve a doubt with you, if it's possible. I own a Sony a35 and I'm considering buying 2 or more flashes Yongnuo yn-560 ii. I would like to know the folowing: to use these flashes simultaneously, I would need to have a Wireless Trigger?






If I do, the Cheaplights NPT-04 (Amazon.com: Cheaplights NPT-04 4 Channel Wireless Hot Shoe Flash Trigger and 2 Receivers Set for Canon Nikon Pentax,OTT-04GY: Camera & Photo) would be enough?






If it is not enough, wich model/brand would you recommend (cheaper)?

1 - I have a Sony HX30. How do I transfer photos using WiFi without the internet working?


2 - Below is an example of the GPS log. How to I transfer this to Google Maps using 10.6.8?

3 - When I transfer photos' by cable, is the battery life effected by a very short charge that happens before I select the transfer?

Hello.
I am wondering if any of you alpha fans take real estate photos?

My silent partner (wife) wants me to strongly consider a used lens.

Most of the properties I foresee shooting are condos and under 5000sqft houses.

Any suggestions for something around $400

Thats about all I have is a clue, the more I learn about this art, the more I realize how much I dont know..... That being said, Currently I am using an A33, I have enought o upgrade my body to an A65, or by a nice lens for the same amount. I have a few lens', nothing top of the line by any means but they are doing the job. My question is, should I upgrade the body? Will I see a difference in my image quality, or should I invest in more glass?
