I have recently been exposed to archery, and I like it very much. I think I will eventually buy a recurve bow. I need to measure my draw length, and get advice on how large the bow should be. Luckily we have a local club.

So, anyone into archery? :)

Not necessarily pertaining to photography, but generally speaking. I know nothing about web, but I am proficient with photoshop and illustrator (plus a bunch of 3D CAD). So where do I start? Which is the more future proof one to learn?
I have Adobe CS 5 web edition, which includes flash and ... forgot what else. I need enlightenment!

I listen to the radio every morning on my drive to work.

Whenever the radio host cuts away to an audio clip of someone speaking at a conference, or address, or likewise... I can always hear the cameras motor driving away... 1/8000 just... RATATATATATATATA...

Hey TPF, as we wake up and start our day, I know everyone in the US is seeing and hearing about the tornado that blew through Oklahoma yesterday. I know that we have multiple people from Oklahoma, including your's truely. I work within a couple of miles where the tornado started it's path.

I just wanted to let you all know that me and my family are fine, thank God. And I also wanted to see that if the other Oklahomans on here are okay.

Here is a picture of the largest hail that we got at my house. My wife is holding them.

My prayers go out to Oklahoma folks and the Missing Children and any that may be affected by this disaster. I feel so sad, this world sucks.

So I was at a wedding last night working the photobooth. I saw the two photographers which weren't from my company shooting nikons. They had little 3inch by 1inch stickers on camera lens and flashes? I was confused if it was possibly all rented gear? Just curiosity

There is a website, I cannot remember the name, where people can tag locations that they thought were awesome photo locations. There were lots of posts of grungy locations and places that marked abandon buildings. Has anyone heard of this? I can't remember the name but I know it exists!! Does anyone know what I'm talking about???
