Preventing spammers
Has there ever been any thought given to a method of preventing all the spammers? Requiring X number of posts in the Intro forum before gaining access to the rest of the site, as one idea/example.

Doesn't have to be the Intro forum. There could be a specific noob forum added that they have to post in before anywhere else, including the introductions section. Even still, spamming their gibberish and signature links into only the Intro forum is better than every other section.
That's also just one idea, I'm sure there's other ways to help prevent them.-Kevin
