    Matting and Framing

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but as a group of film users, I'm hoping there are a handful of you that are DIY enough that you've ventured into framing.

Throughout the year I have about 300ish prints that I mat and frame. Up until this year this hasn't been a problem but all of a sudden, I can not get a single cut right.

I have a Logan mat cutting system (several different board cutters), and a pull style bevel head cutter. The biggest problem that I'm having is that the blade isn't cutting through the board anymore, no matter what I seem to do.

I've adjusted the blade so it's out more than it should (and adjusting for overcuts), but still no help. I've changed the backing board, which made no difference. I've checked to make sure everything is laying as flat as possible, but my cuts still aren't going through.

    Any suggestions?

Of course the obvious question 1st , have you changed the blade (replaced)?

    That's odd really,

With all equipment being the same you used before in good condition, you think maybe it is the batch of matting for some reason was manufactured differently?
