    Canon vs Nikon?
    There's a difference?
And here was me thinking they were both equally cr@p.

Can we have a Sinar vs Toyo thread for the adults?

    No it doesn't.
Canons always were, and still are, cheap, tinny and over-priced. Nikons are just over-priced.
If anything it would be a Nikon vote. I use their enlarging lenses (some of the best) and the Nikon Photomic F2 was one of the best 35mm cameras ever built.

But having said that I have an original Canon Digital Ixus which is a design classic and a lovely little camera...
    Damn!!!

OK. You can have a vote each.

Canon compacts are great (goes to repent sins) , more than you can say for the slrs which are crap.

Fujis are the best compacts imho. Nikon compacts are so bad they are offensive to photography
