there is a program you can upload the ast photo you took and it will tell you how many times the shutter has been pressed.... my 5DMII has over 50,000 shutter acq's

I always have compact camera in my pocket so any where I see something nice I capture it so every three or four days I have to empty my memory card.

I'm surprised nobody has thrown their shutter count into the mix here. Mine is at 4,264 on my D80.
