    My First Out And About Point And Shoot

    No rain, no snow - an ACTUAL dry day on saturday, so i ventured out armed with my camera, and here's a few of the results

    I definitely like the first and second ones best. They're pretty well-lit. The flower pics aren't as good as the first and second considering lighting as well as the fact that flower pics are pretty common, so you'd have to do something special with a flower pic to make it turn out amazing (i.e. mess with aperture, shoot from a different angle, etc.) The fourth pic is slightly busy and crowded, so next time, maybe consider shooting just the lock, or just the wires (like the first shot), or just the chain...? You could also mess around with aperture there so that the background was blurred so that the subject could be clearer.
    Hmm...I'd definitely say the second one (in my opinion), is the best one, as it has the best lighting and tones. It caught my eye and isn't too busy.

    cheers, i know what you mean about flower shots though

    i kinda singled out the first two as good shots by my own standards too
