I really like number 1, how the 2 players are in the same position in movement. I wish the first person was in focus though.

Unless i am mistaken looks like that person is wearing capri's and i don't know about other places but where i live guys tend not to wear them

Knowing what kind of camera body you have would be good if you want a more specific recommendation, but a high zoom lens would a good job like a 70-200mm. Being outside lighting shouldn't be to much of a problem so you wouldn't require that fast of a lens.
As the for the pictures!!!
In #1 it seems to me that the person in the front is out of focus and it is focused on the person in the back.
In #2 maybe turn up the shutter speed a bit to stop the blur on the hand.
Overall these are pretty good
