First DSLR pics

A couple of my first DSLR pics, please C&C All taken in manual mode


1. ADT sign shouldnt be there!!


2. Taken in a very dark room, was going for an overexposed look. ISO at 800, long exposure.


3. Bad lighting/reflections, just messing around after washing my car

ADT looks like it's sneaking up on your "Welcome Friends" sign

Really like the concept of the second image, but the right side is cut off. The flowers in the foreground seem too dark to me and could have used a touch more light to bring out some detail.

The flowers on the top of the arrangement have nicely highlighted edges that I find very pleasing.

nice pictures. I agree with RubyRed about 1 & 2. With #3, if you would have turned the front tire the other way to show the rim, I think it would have been a tad better (that and that you already commented about the harsh lighting).

#1 needs the background more blurred. My eyes are distracted by the not too out of focus plant. Open the lens up a bit. Otherwise good, but yea the adt sign is distracting...

#2 doesnt do much except show noise to me...flowers should be in color... *shrugs* thats me.

#3...nice camaro your front wheel should have been straight LOL
