Shooting to the Moon!
Or what happens when I get bored and play with teleconverters!
All shots are 100% crops
First off my insane 800mm+ lens - that is:
Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS + canon 2*TC +Sigma 2*TC
This mode was actually so heavy that it caused the grip on my 322RC2 to fail and it slowly moved under the weight on full grip - so I had to support the camera up.

f5.6, ISO 400, 1/500sec, no flash, manual mode used.

f8, ISO 100, 1/4sec, no flash, manual mode.
And now for a more sane (and stable) setup:
Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS + Canon 2*TC
shot missplaced
f5.6, ISO 400, 1/500sec, no flash, manual mode used.

f8, ISO 100, 1/10sec, no flash, manual mode.
The reddy shots are both taken on another day after the whites (which were my first attempts) and hence the changes to - what I consider - better camera settings.
It is interesting to note that even though I am adding two 2TCs together that overall end result is not that much worse than just one TC - and if the shot is reduced in size and sharpened quality is almost the same as with one 2*TC
Comments and crits welcome =thanks

Been spending a lot of time on here!
Omg, Is this how horrible TC's really are?

I spend too much of my life on TPF!
Cool shots, but unfortunately with TCs you lose A LOT of detail...

I think for the moon, people are going to want to see alot of clarity, and in this case there isn't much you can do. However, i do feel as if you could get some very interesting results with another subject perhaps.
I like the first one the best.
