Painting with light, or trying to anyway

This was one of my first attempts at painting with light. It is a double exposure using a Canon EOS A2, 100 ISO film, 15 seconds on each item. Haven't been able to duplicate it since, on anything. Any pointers?

    pointers,

use your d40x, daveblackphotography.com has a few good pointers on lightpainting i believe.

reshoot the same shot over and over with your d40 and light it slightly dif each time until you get a feel for what light gives you what result. getting good lightpaintings is much harder for me with film, i will however shoot it digital to perfection and attempt the same things for 10 shots on a roll of film to get it on film, also google lost america, i believe his name is troy paiva, not sure . . . but he had some sweet light paintings too.
