Macro - Old Lens Reversed.
I've got an old 35mm-80mm lens from my old Nikon F50, thought i'd try the reversed macro thing. I've got a 58mm step-up ring on it so it fits over the mount nice without doing damage, only problem is i need to hand hold it on, no big deal.
Thought i'd try a few shots to see colour rendition etc etc.
Setup: 35mm end, SB600, light tent, D80. NO PP except resize & save for web.

Holy narrow DOF, Batman!
Anyway, the lens sucks as a normal lens, i never use it, so it's demoted to the experimental Macro pile!

Well i glued a couple of step-up & step-down rings together to allow the old lens to be attached onto the end of my sigma 70-300mm..
only problem with reversed lenses is you have to be so close to your subject.
