thinking monkey.. what does he think?

Hi,
there is a portrait of a thinking monkey






Maybe he's thinking about how much food he 'll manage to take from tourists today (not from me!! that's a free-ranging monkey!)

He's cute, and you got him from an interesting angle. I love monkey pictures, so the more the better.

I know free running monkeys exist in places like Indonesia and such, but I have never heard of this in France! What part are you from that has wild monkeys??

I took the picture when I was working in the middle-Atlas mountains in Morocco.
There are no monkeys in France, just Human primates, which is quite similar
but this species (Barbary macaques, Macaca sylvanus) also exist in Europe, there are few social groups in Gibraltar

Thought maybe there was some secret part of France where the monkeys roamed free
