    Lensbaby - first images

Got my baby today; I'm hooked! here are the first shots with the f5.6 aperture ring.
    1.

    2.

    3.

    Tech details:
10D, Lensbaby 5.6 aperture ring, RAW, vignetted the first image, usual Curves.

Side note - Matt (MD), the lens is not plasticky as I thoughtitwould be. Not saying it is built like a tank either. I love it. Havetotry out the f4 and f2.8.
Not a big difference, but if you are a member of DWF, the price is US$89.99.

I'm not responsible for my photographs. Photography is not documentary, but intuition, a poetic experience. It's drowning yourself, dissolving yourself, and then sniff, sniff, sniff – being sensitive to coincidence. You can't go looking for it; you can't want it, or you won't get it. First you must lose your self. Then it happens. -Henri Cartier-Bresson

    Thanks Matt!

You just have to get just one lens. It comes with the aperture "rings" (f2, 4, 5.6, and 8 ), which you can change as you wish.

yeah, i'll have to check this stuff out as well, I haven't heard of that ring before. That said I really dig #2. Kinda reminds of some shots i've seen miss terri post with her Holginator.

Yeah, the guy who invented it (from Portland!) was trying to emulate the sweet spot of a Holga with his digicam.

    Thanks everyone for the comments.
Karalee, I will be posting more shots soon with all the rings.

BTW, not everyone likes this "effect".
