    i like the shots, good angles. but i don't think they where as sharp as they could.

    This 18-55 suffers from significant CA used wide. I had to convert the RAW straight to TIF so i could import it into GIMP to use a CA-Fix plugin to cancel it out. Then back into a 16bit editor to begin proper work. It's easier to use the lens for B&W for this reason, as per my street photography. The focus in this shot is on the high wall close in front of me. The far tower isn't fully in focus due to aperture.

    I find the sharpening in this picture a little OTT but i think the lens draws pretty good for a kit lens.
