The car isn't sharp for some reason.

After selecting just the car then using USM (UnSharpMask) in local contrast enhancement mode, then in sharpening mode, you can give the car a bit more 'pop':

NASCAR panning shots have a special place in my heart; the first photograph I was ever proud of was one. The old Crown Royal McMurray car.

hmm, very subtle change. these shots were almost right out of the camera. to me, that one seemed pretty clear as the antennae on the roof is sharp, perhaps the contrast bump helps a little bit, ill have to go back and tweek the hi-res file. ^where can we see the mcmurry pic?
