a friend asked me to take some pics of fruit for her (something to do with an IT project, can't remember, but anyway she would get better marks if she didn't use images off google so yer) at the moment I've just done apples but I might try something else later.

on the first one i would like some more depth of field (just slightly smaller aperture), just my personal taste.

as for the colour ones .. you certainly like warm colours?

wonder what a series of thes would look like on the wall, one in red-ish colour as they are, then one with false blue (maybe strong blue light or postprocessed) and one in green

the last one is really different, like how you played with misleading shapes there

Nice stuff Emma. The last is my fave of these images... I think the water droplets really add to this shot.
Now I gotta go have an apple.

Great shots. The lines on the apple in #2 kind of add to the image. Have to agree that the last shot is well composed, the water droplets and the "appleflower". Still life is quite a difficult subject to tackle as always, light is the key factor. Good work tho'.

Contrary to above opinions.......I like # 3. They look like apple slices.
