    Awesome!

    I remember seeing some slow motion film of balloons being popped on youtube or somewhere similar and you only have a split second to get that shaped water effect.

    Just out of interest how many tries did it take for you to get this shot?

    almost every shot came out different, but I think i like that one the best

    The best way to photograph popping balloons or anything at hi-speed is to use a sound or infra red trigger to fire flash in a controlled environment, you've been really lucky with the capture and its also a pretty good shot. H

    This is really neat! Have you thought about using a projectile of some sort to pop the balloon so that your hand isn't in the photo?

    Fricking awesome. After trying to capture a drop of water falling in mid air from a dripping spout this weekend, I have new found respect for how hard it is to time shots like this. Great job.
