Some shots I've taken with the Powershot SD1000

I recently bought a SD1000 which is basically a high-end point-and-shoot to take pictures when I'm out hiking. All these shots were taken in northern California, let me know what you think.

The first two look a bit too blue for me. Got photoshop? Playing with the curves should give them a little more balance.

How are you finding the camera to use? They look pretty neat.

This is my first camera so bear with me. I'm kinda ambivalent about the SD1000- it's very portable and the interface is pretty intuitive and easy to use, however the 3x optical zoom leaves much to be desired. Also the camera doesn't have manual focus. I've also noticed that the SD1000's auto exposure system has a tendency to overexpose when shooting outdoors.
