Interesting work. How did you put some of the normal colours (like the brown of the wood on the steps) into the IR picture?

I shoot in RAW, then there is post processing required to get the colors you see above. I use Photoshop CS2.

This link - http://digitalphotographer.com.ph/fo...ead.php?t=5931 - has a good description of the post processing using Photoshop. Note that in the link, the camera used is a Pentax K10 and the K10 requires much longer exposure times than my K100D. For my K100D, this is the EXIF
    1/2 sec
    F 8.0
    ISO 200
    18-55mm at 24mm
    RAW
    Custom light balance

I also wrote something up on pst processing, see here > http://www.xsrider.com/infrared/infrared.htm but mine needs to be updated - I have improved my technique since I wrote that.

    Hope that helps.

I dunno, I dont mind the content/subject....maybe its a little busy on the right, would have been nice to see a little more of the handrail to break it up a bit, and a bit more room round the wotsit, the trees are kinda cramping it from the right, but on the whole I like the perspective.
The thing I dont get is, if your gonna start changing colours in PS, why bother using an IR filter in the first place, just shoot normally and invent whatever colours you want.

I too think it's rather busy but with all the busy-ness, my eye is still drawn to the Pagota via the steps. Very nice
