anyone else doing shirts

I am a photographer bassed out of epping New hampshire. I have been placeing some of my graphics on tshirts for save as well as wearing some for avdertisement. So far I have 3 orders for shirts from one costomer I work with, another for a single shirt, and my land lord want 3-4 shirts. Seems like the money is going to be in the custom end of doing graphics but it seems like I am going to do a lot more possessing instead creating an image and mass producing. Has anyone has experience doing shirts? Does anyone have a good way of figuring out the cost of ink per page?
