    Question Can wildlife and livestock photos taken from the road be sold with out a release of a

    I have many photos of wildlife and livestock, horses mostly, I have taken while on public roads. Can I sell these images with out land owner releases?

    Yes, although it is doubtful anyone wants to buy images of random animals shot from the side of the road.

    You'll need a property release, in the end this livestock is owned by someone and so in turn they own the right to charge you for the privilege of taking a photo of it and selling it on.

    However, are they ever actually going to know your selling prints of there livestock, I doubt it so run with it at your own risk, but know that you are breaking the law as you do.
