overexposed... :-(
Is there a way to fix this overexposed picture? I have the raw file and Photoshop CS3, but I'm VERY new to photography and Photoshop.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Open the RAW file and adjust the 'exposure' slider...if the details come back, then it can be saved. If the details remain white...then they are blown out and you won't be able to get them back.
There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.

I would mess with it in RAW. Change your exposure, black level, fill light, and brightness. I d/l'd the pic, but it in that form it's too blown out. I'm not really sure if RAW will save the data to be honest with ya...

I think RAW will save it if you know what your doing, I took a picture of a waterfall and it was 100% blown out, but to my surprise I got the details back.
