    Whats wrong with this color?

I have Photoshop CS4 and Apeature 2. I been trying to correct the way the dress looks in this picture. The rest of the colors in the pic look fine. I tried using the doge burn tool to; adjust the saturation, I tried dodging it and I tried adjusting the contrast. Im not really sure what is wrong but it looks awful.

btw my monitors is color calbriated.
    Thank You for your help.

    Peter

It looks like it's just over saturated. I would try to desaturate the reds and magentas a little. If that doesn't fix it, I don't know what to do.

Try a selective color adjustment layer. Work mainly in the magentas (+++ black levels, --- magenta) and a little in the reds (+ black, + cyan). It isn't an oversaturated image, because the rest of the image (what I can see of it) isn't oversaturated.

    Cool

I think you may have pushed it too far... a destructive edit, but I was able to reduce the saturation, shift the hue and compensate a bit for the different lighting situation. -Shea
