    LR3 Question

Using Lightroom 3 how do I go about merging 2 or more picture into one panorama? Still new with this program and got the photo editing down but need to know how to join pictures.

Have you done a google search for it? I did a quick one on my phone - I wen through the first couple but didn't find an answer. I recommend doing a google search. It will probably be quicker than waiting for someone to tell you how to do it.

I don't think that LR, by itself, is capable of merging photos into a panorama. You need a different software for that.

Have you done a google search for it?
No kidding. I did a search, and it took me 5 seconds to find the procedure....and like I mentioned, it requires other software.
    Creating Panoramic Photos in Lightroom

After you have them in Lightroom, select at lease two or more photo you are going to use. Go to Photo-Edit-Merge to Panoramic in Photoshop.
Lightroom will send the photos into the other software (Photoshop in this case), and it will automatically start the stitching utility. When that's done, it will bring the stitched image back into Lightroom for you.

If you don't have Photoshop, there are many other (less expensive) programs that would probably work.
There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.
