I was wondering if anyone has had problems using older lenses. All my lenses are around 10 years old and they work fine on the Sony, but the Sigma 24mm won't even lock onto the camera. I know the mount is okay, because it fits fine on the old Minolta. The other two Sigma lenses work fine. Any clue as to why the 24mm would not work? Carol
It may just be due to the fact that its the later model. Search Google with your lens specs and see what you can turn up.
From what I know, as long as it is an A mount lens, it should work fine with Alphas. If you want, you can use it for Reverse-Lens Macro Photography or....... If you want to dispose it, ship it to me. harharhar!
