    Church HDR C&C

Thoughts on these? Lens distortion too much?

The second is my favorite, though I'm curious how it might have looked had you moved back a little from your shooting position (if physically possible) so the left spire was less obstructed. (The one light on and the other off is a minor distraction, albeit out of your control.) I like the way the light is hitting the building, as well as the color scheme -- though the sky looks a bit unnaturally light cyan. And at least in this instance, I think the distortion works in your favor. Good job processing; maybe just a shave on the dark side.

Thanks for the CC Mendoza, let me ask you this, is the subject interesting or does the HDR effect make it interesting or is it some of both?

Mainly the subject, since it provides the geometry and color from which the HDR subtly reinforces detail and exposure range. In fact if I didn't know any better I might be one of those lovely folks who pops out every now and again to exclaim, incredulously: "THIS is HDR????"

Now that you say that "This is HDR?" I kinda agree, the absence of clouds to provide that context/depth isn't there to reaffirm that idea.

    Thanks again for the feedback.

^Sorry, to clarify, I meant people who go for the "plastic candy" look:

The way you did it is less perceptible as "HDR", and better, IMO.

I like the plastic look as well. I enjoy both types of HDR work.
