Cat portraits

Girlfriend's mother wanted some good pictures of their cats to frame. So, I gave it my best shot. If you have any thoughts on how to do cats better I'd love to know, since my girlfriend and I just got one ourselves and I'll probably be trying to get some good pictures of her in the near future.





Black cats are really hard. Alas.

Haha, to be honest, the tight crop is because I was shooting with a telephoto indoors and didn't have much room to back up (and yes, there was a reason I was using the telephoto). Glad you like them though. I wanted to turn up the contrast in the second one, but it makes the black fur lose all of its definition.
